How the haunting is measured
Two readings, blended
The instruments are free pattern checks that run instantly in your browser. They look for evergreen “talent pool” language, missing pay, mystery employers, Gmail recruiters, fresher roles that want six years, clichés, and posts older than a month. Real signs like a salary number, a named team, an interview process or a requisition ID pull the score down.
The medium is a small AI model that reads the post like a tired recruiter would. It has to quote the post word for word for every claim, and any quote that isn't really in your text is thrown away before you see it.
Honest limits
A high score means the post reads like a ghost. Only the company knows for sure.
Plenty of real jobs are badly written. If you have a referral, apply anyway.
“Asks you to pay” isn't a ghost, it's a scam. Never pay to apply.
